The end of March and the Easter weekend seemed an ideal
chance to take her out for a bit of a shake down.
Unfortunately we had no wind at all so the rig wasn't
put through it's paces at all?
However, we spent a night in Cowes. Having first made
use of various pontoons on the medina for a bit of practice.
This in turn made me feel over confident so when we
we finally went into East Cowes we made a wee bit of a thump!!
On the positive side my crew, Ross, and I didn't go
mad spending 2 nights on board. The Origo proved to be very good!
I noticed that the engine temp gauge bounces up and
down a lot and I need to check the thermostat and cooling.
I also found out for the first time that a digital
camera memory card can get trashed, so we lost some of the photo's
Never the less here we are....
