November 5th saw me frantically trying to prepare the boat, ready to take her over to Ryde.
So a few last jobs, including getting some instruments in place so we had at least got Log and Echo.
Also I lashed up some wiring to the nav. Lights.

The resulting instrument fascias..... and the mess behind, which will be covered by a box which will house the new switch and fuse panel inside.

November 6th
Another busy morning tidying up and rigging sails. This also meant discovering all the missing bits and pieces.
Shackles to buy and kicking straps to bodge up. But we were able to leave Port Solent at 2pm as planned.
Myself Blue Moonlight and my pal Ross.

As we leave the lock.
We motored out of Portsmouth harbour, the engine chugging nicely. Then put out some canvas and made the most of some fresh breezes. Given the bodged kicker and lack of battens she sailed well.
